Finding effective clean beauty products without essential oils that can work on sensitive skin or even eczema-prone skin can sometimes prove difficult, but let me share these skincare goodies, I have a feeling you will love them!

  1. INDIE LEE

  • I first encountered Indie Lee’s Purifying Face Wash, CoQ-10 Toner, and Squalane Facial Oil as a trial package on the Super Great app. I was intrigued by the brand and the founder. After using the mini products, I had to repurchase the full-size face wash and face oil; it was that good.

  • Indie Lee Purifying Face Wash works on sensitive and eczema-prone skin types because it is formulated without essential oils. It is made with Rose Danascena and Jasmine to make your skin feel soft and supple while the orange and lavender extracts soothe and dissolve excess sebum. I enjoy using this in the morning as a gentle cleanser, it almost feels like jelly.

  • Indie Lee COQ-10 Toner is an alcohol-free toner packed with antioxidants, aloe vera, cucumber, and CoQ-10 which makes this formula non-drying and perfect to spritz on your skin to help protect against environmental aggressors and prevent your skin from drying out.

  • Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil felt so good on my face that I started using it on my back as well to soothe my eczema hot spots. I feel like I was missing out by not using this oil all along! I highly recommend you try it if you have easily irritated skin that is difficult to soothe. This will be your skin’s BFF: a vegan formula for the face and body that is made without essential oils, absorbs easily and boosts moisture retention.

2. OSEA

OSEA Ocean Eyes Age-Defying Eye Serum is perfect if you wake up with puffy under eyes. This eye serum has caffeine in it which de-puffs under the eyes. The roller ball mechanism helps circulate puffiness around the eyes and helps deliver the serum to brighten the skin around your eyes while reducing lines and dark circles.

OSEA Hyaluronic Sea Serum feels lightweight, hydrating, and soothing on the skin. I apply this immediately after using toner and immediately before a moisturizer. This promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.

3. Dr. Dennis Gross

It’s no secret that I enjoy several products from Dr. Dennis Gross. Whether you are a fan of the brand or have never heard of them, this Dr. Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Hydration Booster is a great product to try. This is multifunctional and can be used on its own or mixed into your favorite moisturizers and serums to help moisturize, smooth the appearance of lines, and leave you with softer skin.

4. True Botanicals

True Botanicals Moisture Lock Balm is moisturizing and leaves a beautiful pop of color that can also be used on the cheeks and lips. It gives a beautiful glossy finish to your lips and to the high points of your cheekbones. It is made with Bulgarian rose which gives it a light floral and slightly earthy scent. I keep this on my vanity and use it throughout the day on days off.

5. Westman Atelier

Looking for a high-quality, pitch-black mascara to lengthen your lashes and give them some volume at the same time? This Westman Atelier Eye Love You Volumizing Clean Mascara will do just that! I have to mention that this is a luxurious experience. The packaging is weighty and I enjoy the way the bristles separate and comb every one of my tiny lashes. This mascara is worth having if you don’t mind splurging on the finer things and have sensitive eyes.

Let me know which of these clean beauty items you have tried or will be trying in the comments! Talk to you soon.

Vividly,

Kafi.
