How to Style: OverSized Coat

Being plus sized and wearing an oversized coat, while attempting to be comfortable in cold weather?… that can be tricky! Wearing too little or too much will make you miserable from shivering cold or exhausted from being too hot.

This coat is the perfect answer for staying warm, comfortable and styled. It will keep out the coldest, strongest gusts! It is a wool blend from H&M and comes in 3 colours; black, light beige and dark beige. I opted for the light beige option.

I ordered a size up because I wanted to be able to bundle up under this coat. Today I paired it with my favorite Faux Leather Spanx Leggings, H&M Black Turtleneck and Dr. Marten Combat Boots. Keeping my accessories and hair minimal, I wore, gold textured hoop earrings, High Key aviator glasses from Quay Australia and a thrifted, fur handle mini bag. (This is a similar option.)

This outfit can be worn on all casual occasions. Every piece has been worn several times, so you will get alot of wear and value for your money.

The cut of this coat also makes it versatile. It can be worn anywhere from formal to casual. It’s great value for money since I’ve been wearing it constantly since the fall of 2019 and it shows no signs of wear and tear. It really is one of my favorite purchases.
