Easy Soft Glam Makeup Tutorial
A Timeless Makeup Look with Fenty Beauty
What is soft glam makeup? It’s a makeup look that will be fabulous no matter the occasion. From an office zoom meeting to a gala, you will be confident knowing that your makeup looks fantastic.
Get Your Base
Prep for your makeup with a skincare routine that is best suited for your skin type and the weather. Click here for one of my favorite gentle skin routines that’s great for all skin types.
When you’re finished applying your skincare routine, choose a primer of your choice. For this look, use Fenty Beauty Pro Filter Primer. The base of this makeup look is great for normal, combination, and oily skin types. This primer is oil-free with a smooth, mattifying finish. It will also stand up against the summer heat and humidity. I use about 4 pumps all over my face.
Next, use Fenty Beauty Full-Bodied Foundation Brush 110 to apply a mattifying liquid foundation. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Liquid Foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation that is buildable and has minimal transfer.
Use Fenty’s Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Longwear Liquid Concealer to conceal and brighten your under-eye area. For precision and to blend in the concealer easily, the Precision Concealer Brush is a great option. To make sure your makeup lasts all day with no creasing, set the concealer and foundation. You can use Fenty Setting Powder in a lighter color, like Banana for the under-eye, and the color Cashew to set the rest of your face.
Using a lighter setting powder for the under-eye area creates a brightened effect which adds to the fresh awake look. Use the Fenty Beauty Powder Puff Setting Brush 170 to blend away any harsh lines and dust away any extra powder.
Showcase Your Eyes
There are some beautiful summer and autumn shades in the Natasha Denona Sunset Eyeshadow Palette. You can create a soft blended look or a cut crease. The colours, Jasper, Clove and Awakening. With Jasper as a crease colour, then layer clove in the outer corner using the same blending brush. For a high shimmer, reflective look, wet a MAC 195 brush to pick up the shimmer shade, awakening. Apply ‘Awakening’ to the inner corner of your lid. Apply the same colours to your lower lids. For the lower lash line, apply the Fenty eyeliner in the colour Cute Ting. This pink gives your eyes a wide eye appearance. Create a Baby wing liner with Fenty Beauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner. You can finish up the look with some mascara or eyelashes, depending on how glamourous you will like your makeup.
Play up your glow

Don’t forget your tear-duct area. Applying a highlighter will give you a refreshed finish.
Bare Minerals Gen Nude Powder Blushes offer a beautiful range of colors. ‘You had me at Merlot’ is a great option to compliment this pink look. Apply your blush of choice on the apples of your cheeks, your nose, and your temples.
A Pretty Pout
