What is it?
Cosmic Pearl is Em Cosmetics' latest eyeshadow launch of 7 metallic eyeshadow shades. The single eyeshadows have seven shades; Luna, Moonrise, Wish, Venus, Helios, Starchild, and Scorpius. This is different from the previous eyeshadow palette releases since these are single shadows. The texture is also different since this is very creamy to the touch. You can see the imprint of your finger or brush once you touch these eyeshadows.
Packaging
These single eyeshadows have seven shades names reminds of you the galaxy! The names are so dreamy. When you close your eyes and say the names, you can imagine the color if you were stargazing. Luna, Moonrise, Wish, Venus, Helios, Starchild, and Scorpius. The packaging fits in perfectly with the aesthetic of the brand. The packaging is a clear hard plastic that reflects the Em Cosmetics emblem on the cover. The metallic sparkles reflect with any glimmer of light.
Cosmic Pearl Formula
The formula is creamy and very soft to the touch since they are infused with vitamin E and Sunflower Seed. Em Cosmetics notes that these ingredients keep the soft cushiony texture of the eyeshadows and will never dry out. This eyeshadow goes on incredibly smooth giving you a glimmering pigment that is easy to blend out for a blown outlook. It is pigmented enough to concentrate in one area to create an eyeliner. Upon application, I realized that you can use this eyeshadow on its own or use it in combination with other eyeshadows to create even more depth.
Cosmic Pearl Performance
These are soft and very creamy to the touch. For this makeup look, I applied I was not at all surprised how smooth and soft these eyeshadows are to the touch and creamy they are to apply. These eyeshadows are infused with vitamin E & sunflower seed oil which adds to the smoothness of the texture!

3 Ways to use Cosmic Pearl
The ways in which you can use this eyeshadow are:
1. By itself. You can use this eyeshadow on its own either all over the lid to create a glamourous or soft glam look.
2. As an eyeliner. Using a brush you can apply this eyeshadow to your lower lash line. To intensify the pigment use water or a mixing liquid to create a wing or graphic liner.
3. Layer to create a pop of color or depth. Layer any one of these shades on the center of your lids to create a halo or in the inner crease corner as a highlighter color.
Create this look
For this look, apply shade, 'Scorpius' all over the line winging it out using the Spectrum x KJH 15 brush. I smoked out my lower lash line with #emcosmetics Divine Skies Eyeshadow palette* with the color, 'EROS'. After 5 hours of wear, I did notice some slight separation on my eyelids, so if you plan on wearing this eyeshadow for a long time, definitely set cosmic Pearl with Em Cosmetics (This liquid lipstick is so comfortable that you don’t feel like you’re wearing anything on your lips.)
Cosmic Pearl IMO
The shades are all very beautiful and I enjoyed creating this look with it. Layering these eyeshadows created this beautiful look that won me many compliments as I was out and about for the day. The eyeshadows did not fade or smudge but after scrutinizing the eyeshadow up close, after 5 hours of wear, I did notice slight creasing. To make sure these eyeshadows last through the day, and you have oily lids, you may want to use a bit of the Em Cosmetics eyeshadows to set. These eyeshadows are truly beautiful and made for the makeup minimalist and the maximum-ist. I recommend you trying this eyeshadow. It's beautiful!
