While decluttering my fragrance collection, I thought I would give a review of these 5 recommended fragrances for the office, school or everyday. Fragrance is subjective. What is considered a beautiful scent to one person may be considered overbearing and even offensive to another. These fragrances are all light, and I recommend sticking to one or two sprays especially if you are going to be in the companies of others. They may love your scent but no one wants to be overburdened with the ‘scent of you’.
Clinique, Dior & Gucci
Fragrances have a way of evoking emotions. Clinique Happy has its name with good reason. It is an old fragrance that I thoroughly enjoy. It has fresh citrus notes with a hint of modern florals, that stays on for 8 hours or so. It was one of my everyday fragrances that I used as a pre-teen. When I got the mini, I realized that I still love it. I am going to get a full bottle. It really evokes a happy mood. I got the minis for my pre-tween twin children, which they enjoyed.
They also really enjoyed, Acqua di Gioia. Which has a fresh aquatic, floral with a bit of a citrus scent. Key notes Jasmine, Gardenia, warm woods that lasts for a little over 5 hours. It’s very pleasant evoking a feeling of elation & calm.
Gucci Bamboo is a bit more feminine fresh floral, which I can recommend for the office or school. This evokes a softer fresh scent which I think is perfect as an everyday fragrance. Note that it stays on for a few hours, depending on the weather and body lotion that you wear.
Anytime Fragrances

Jo Malone’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt Cologne is a very Fresh Aquatic scent with sage. It makes an amazing pairing with most fragrances of body lotions. It is a mellow scent but still pleasant and inviting. Bear in mind this is a cologne, so it does not have any lasting power.
If you are keen on feminine scents, Dior Roses N Roses is a classic fresh, sparkling floral. It’s a light and very feminine scent. This is safe for the office or a date night… A little goes a long way, so I tend to only spray this once. I do have a large bottle of this which I really enjoy.
